The Committee on Accreditation of Recreational Therapy Education (CARTE), a COA of the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) has posted materials needed to assist colleges and universities interested in recreational therapy education accreditation. At the below link, you will find specific information on CARTE, Procedures Manual for CARTE Accreditation, and all the necessary forms to initiate accreditation with CAAHEP-CARTE. The CARTE Board is ready to serve you. Also note that visitor training was completed at the ATRA Mid-Year in Providence. A second CARTE Visitor Training Program will be offered at the ATRA Annual in Indianapolis, IN this fall.
