I became a Professor Emeritus after serving 29 years as a recreational therapy faculty member at Indiana University. I'm a long-time Hoosier, having grown up in Hanover, Indiana. My RT practitioner work was in psych/mental health. After completing my Ph.D. at the University of Illinois, my first faculty position was at the University of North Texas. RT has been a wonderful profession for me as I have had the opportunity to serve as an author and national leader.

More info on Call for MS for the Annual in TR

Editors of the ATRA Annual in Therapeutic Recreation, Professors Marieke Van Puymbreck and Jen Piatt, want to remind contributors that the mansucripts may be sent to Jen Piatt at (jenpiatt@indiana.edu) or Marieke Van Pyumbreck at (mvp@indiana.edu).

Mansucripts are due by March 15, 2013. For more details see the RT Blog post of January 25th on the call for manuscripts for the Annual.
