Call for Presenters Annual Spring Therapeutic Recreation Forum Sponsored by Pacific Northwest American Therapeutic Recreation Association Friday, June 6th, 2014 Oregon Employment Building Auditorium 875 Union Street, Salem, Oregon 97301 Conference Theme: “Healthy Aging” Presentation Topic Suggestions: Creative presentations that will assist Recreation Therapist to promote healthy aging at any age in all domains: social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and spiritual. Presentation Submission Deadline: Friday, March 7th, 2014 Proposal Requirements: Requirements have changed to meet ATRA’s CEUs Preapproval Process • *Title should be 20 words or less and describe how the topic relates to Recreation Therapist. • * Presenter biography and contact information including address, phone, and email. (Vitae and resumes should be no more than 2 pages) • *Presentation description including three measurable learning objectives and how the presentation applies to Recreation Therapist and fits the theme of the conference. • * Presentation outline including length of presentation. • * Audio/visual needs list • *Submit any requests for accommodations, travel, presentation support, or speaking stipends. • *If possible, please summit proposal as a Word document. • *More detailed requirements be found on page 11 at: http://www.atra-online.com/associations/10488/files/Workshop_Planning_Guide.pdf Special Considerations: Web-based presentations will be considered and are strongly encouraged.
