I became a Professor Emeritus after serving 29 years as a recreational therapy faculty member at Indiana University. I'm a long-time Hoosier, having grown up in Hanover, Indiana. My RT practitioner work was in psych/mental health. After completing my Ph.D. at the University of Illinois, my first faculty position was at the University of North Texas. RT has been a wonderful profession for me as I have had the opportunity to serve as an author and national leader.

ATRA Upcoming Webinars

This next webinar will be useful to you no matter what setting you work in and begins Wednesday May 16.  This series is entitled Generations in the Workplace: A modern challenge for recreation therapy.  The first session will present information on working with The Veterans.  The second session will be on May 23 and present information on working with baby boomers and the last session will be on June 6 and present information on working with Generations "X", "Y" and "Next".  Remember you can always use the replay option but you must sign up for the session ahead of time.
