I became a Professor Emeritus after serving 29 years as a recreational therapy faculty member at Indiana University. I'm a long-time Hoosier, having grown up in Hanover, Indiana. My RT practitioner work was in psych/mental health. After completing my Ph.D. at the University of Illinois, my first faculty position was at the University of North Texas. RT has been a wonderful profession for me as I have had the opportunity to serve as an author and national leader.

RTI Call for Conference Presentations

Call for Presentations Recreation Therapists of Indiana Conference 2013 We are gearing up for our annual conference, and we are still seeking students and professionals to be presenters for our upcoming conference on November 14 & 15 at the Bridgewater Club in Carmel, Indiana. The RTI Board is reaching out to you for your support in making this a successful conference. If you are interested in speaking, please refer to the 'Call for Presentations' attachment below for details on submitting your presentation proposal. All presenters receive a 50% discount on their conference registration fee. Presentation proposals will now be accepted through September 29 (previously September 27).
