I became a Professor Emeritus after serving 29 years as a recreational therapy faculty member at Indiana University. I'm a long-time Hoosier, having grown up in Hanover, Indiana. My RT practitioner work was in psych/mental health. After completing my Ph.D. at the University of Illinois, my first faculty position was at the University of North Texas. RT has been a wonderful profession for me as I have had the opportunity to serve as an author and national leader.

Faculty Position Opening

Oklahoma State University is pleased to announce the search for a faculty member within the area of Recreational Therapy. The individual selected for this position will primarily provide instruction in the area of Recreational Therapy working with undergraduate and graduate students at the MS & Doctoral level. We encourage all individuals interested in the position to apply including those individuals who are in the final phases of completing the doctoral degree. We will start reviewing applications July 15th, 2013 for the faculty position which starts August 2014.
