I became a Professor Emeritus after serving 29 years as a recreational therapy faculty member at Indiana University. I'm a long-time Hoosier, having grown up in Hanover, Indiana. My RT practitioner work was in psych/mental health. After completing my Ph.D. at the University of Illinois, my first faculty position was at the University of North Texas. RT has been a wonderful profession for me as I have had the opportunity to serve as an author and national leader.

ATRAnet Seems to be Doing Well

I just posted on ATRAnet, the listserv provided by Oklahoma State University. When the system acknowledged my post, it noted it went our to 436 people.

436 is a large number of people and I'm pleased that many have signed up for ATRAnet. But I hope even more individuals will become a part of ATRAnet. If you, or your colleagues, are not on ATRAnet, I would encourage you to go to the ATRA webpage and join up.
