I became a Professor Emeritus after serving 29 years as a recreational therapy faculty member at Indiana University. I'm a long-time Hoosier, having grown up in Hanover, Indiana. My RT practitioner work was in psych/mental health. After completing my Ph.D. at the University of Illinois, my first faculty position was at the University of North Texas. RT has been a wonderful profession for me as I have had the opportunity to serve as an author and national leader.

ATRA Webinars, April 11th & 12th

ATRA is pleased to present a special webinar for students and those people who are not certified and would like to be....The webinar is entitled Preparing to Take the NCTRC Certification Test and will be presented on Wednesday April 11 at 7:00 p.m. EST by Dr. Norma Stumbo. This special webinar is available to any university or person for the low cost of $25. It will be available for replay for 2 weeks following the original presentation. No CEUs will be given for this webinar.

Also, the last in the Professional Issues series will be presented this week. It is entitled Coverage of Recreational Therapy: Are we still covered by CMS? and will be presented by Dr. Tim Passmore on Thursday April 12 at 1:00 p.m. EST. This webinar is also available on replay for two weeks following the original presentation.
